OneApp Agency software was developed by SyMplify Technologies, Inc. which is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. Originally SyMplify was a division of Sy.Med Development, Inc. and was spun-off as a separate company on May 1, 2008. Sy.Med, was founded in 1995 and develops and licenses managed care, credentialing, provider enrollment and hospital privileging software solutions used by approximately 700 health care clients across the country. SyMplify adapts and transfers this proven technology platform to enhance productivity for specific industry segments outside the health care industry. Sy.Med and SyMplify earned the Microsoft Gold Certified Solutions Provider designation underscoring their commitment to provide highly reliable leading edge technology solutions.

OneApp Agency is an adaptation of the SyMplify technology specifically developed for the unique needs of the insurance industry. In February 2009 JAM Holdings, LLC d/b/a OneApp Agency entered into an agreement with SyMplify to market the OneApp Agency software. Jim Marks who originally joined SyMplify in 1996 to lead the development of the OneApp Agency software is the President and owner of JAM Holdings, LLC.
