SyMplify Tech names VP, Product Manager SyMplify Technologies, a division of Brentwood-based Sy.Med Development Inc., has named Jim Marks as vice president and product manager. Marks will primarily be responsible for developing a new software product for the insurance industry.
Sy.Med develops software products to assist with data management.
Marks co-founded Synaxis Group, Inc., in 1998 and served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Synaxis is now a wholly owned subsidiary of First Horizon National Corp., ranked among the 50 largest commercial insurance brokerages in the United States.
Marks has a bachelor's degree in management science from Duke University.
